CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensities. CrossFit is broad, general and inclusive fitness that seeks to prepare participants for any physical or unknown contingency. You will work on the foundational movements of CrossFit while increasing your knowledge of fundamental CrossFit exercises and increasing your work capacity. Intro to CrossFit is an introductory course that meets twice a week. You will be taught the fundamental CrossFit movements, perform a Workout of the Day (WOD) and begin tracking strength numbers. This section of CrossFit will be in the Chinook Student Center Room B40. This class can be purchased by SRC members, however, you will need to purchase a day pass each class to access the facility.
